The Presbytery of the Inland Northwest includes 6 Nez Perce Indian churches. These churches have stood for over a century and represent the oldest active congregations in our presbytery and the state of Idaho (First Indian Presbyterian Church chartered 1871). Today, significant repairs are needed to ensure these churches will be around for the next hundred years. The Presbytery’s Leadership Team launched a capital campaign to raise funds for the Nimiipuu church buildings. The funds will go to needed repairs and renovation. Working hand-in-hand with the Nez Perce congregations, we seek to raise funds needed to restore and preserve these sites for future generations. We are excited about this project and look forward to working with our Nimiipuu siblings.
